Life takes its twists and turns; as an adult, Beverly White worked with her husband on a national basis in the Arabian horse business. Her love of art is reflected in the beauty of the animals. Years later she had her own design business incorporated with working in the architectural driven areas of the United States representing Fenestration products from Italy and Canada. All of these areas fed Beverly’s desire to create and experience art.
I’ve always loved painting; as a child I painted everything, especially landscapes. I love the dramatic lighting nature can display and how it changes in moments to express something entirely different.
Returning to her first love of oil painting landscapes when she moved to Oklahoma City, Beverly re-entered the art world with Judy McCombs as her teacher. As she became acquainted with the diverse artists in the Oklahoma Art Invitational group, she expanded her art skills under Kelly Folsom and Dorothy Woolbright. She enjoys exploring different techniques and refining her craft and being associated with the talented artists of this area.
Beverly has shown her art in the Dorothy Woolbright Studio art show and she shows with the twice-yearly Oklahoma Artists Invitational art shows.
