Margaret Reynolds Hoge was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her interest in art began at a young age while traveling on family trips to the National Parks of the west. She was often seen drawing by the creek while her dad fly-fished or sketching the parks from the back seat of the family station wagon.
After earning a BFA in All Level Art Education, Margaret taught visual arts for more than 20 years before returning to her studio. She continues to hone her artist skills in workshops with Howard Post, Favid Mann, Jeremy Lipking and Sonya Terpening.
Margaret has illustrated several books, designed and painted the mural for the Oklahoma City Zoo’s Jungle Gym playground, but her spirit lives in the mountains of the west through her art.
Margaret has exhibited work in the Oklahoma Artist’s Invitational Show, in the In Your Eye Gallery and in her solo show titled, “Works In Nature”. Her work is collected nationwide by corporate and private individuals.
